aerodynamic awning -

We have an aerodynamic end cap that fits on the front end of the awning. It covers the front and both sides and blends into the original roof line of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Providing a better airflow over the vehicle with less wind resistance and wind noise. It looks like a factory fitted part and is colour matched to the body. It protects the end of the awning from light tree damage.

 

Normally when an awning is fitted on the roof of a vehicle no thought is given to aerodynamics or aesthetics. Compare this to other manufacturers; the Columbus motorhome comes standard with a Fiamma F65 titanium manual awning. The LED light is operated from within the motorhome. It is designed as a courtesy light, not a spotlight.
